Start with how you live
A kitchen has a lot to do: the morning rush, an unhurried dinner, somewhere to put everything away. Bespoke design starts with those everyday moments. How do you use the room? What would make cooking easier? What would you change about the kitchen you have now? Those answers help shape a layout with a purpose.
Cabinetry with its own character
From painted shaker doors to timber details and a statement island, there is room to make the design personal. Dovetail Artisans’ work includes traditional beaded larder doors, oak pantry interiors and walnut in-frame cabinetry. Proportions, door styles, hardware and finishes can be discussed together so the kitchen reads as one considered space.
Storage is part of the design
A pantry, a carefully placed drawer or cabinetry around an appliance can make a real difference to daily life. Think about what you own, what you reach for most and what you prefer to keep out of sight. The same approach can carry through to a utility or boot room, giving the hardworking parts of your home a shared character.
From an idea to an installation
You do not need a finished design to begin a conversation. Share a rough room size, your location, a few reference images and an idea of your budget and timing. If you already have drawings, send those too. Nicholas can discuss the next step and the scope of the design, making and installation for your project.
